SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is alarmed in regards to the significant number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area each day. The status sassa services issue designed for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to allow the servicing of all clients and increase use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
